The 10th UN/CEFACT Forum will be held in The Guinness Storehouse, Dublin.

The Guinness Storehouse

Located in the heart of Dublin, the GUINNESS STOREHOUSE® provides an exciting and unusual destination for the 10th UN/CEFACT Forum.

Ireland, and more particularly Dublin, of the past and present, is fondly associated with the history of Guinness (and life at St. James’s Gate), making this an ideal and truly Irish location for such an important global event.

The Guinness Storehouse itself (the present-day visitor centre) may only have been constructed in 1904, but the history of the world famous beverage spans from 1759 when Arthur Guinness signed the 9,000 year lease for the brewery site at St. James’s Gate.

The STOREHOUSE® building housed the fermentation of GUINNESS® beer until 1988, and in November 2000 the doors reopened as a tourist venue, which provides a hugely popular insight into the story, history and brewing process of Guinness.

Bars, restaurants, conference facilities, exhibits, archives and the merchandise store are spread over the seven floors of the Storehouse.
